Scottish House was founded by Patrick McVey Gillion in 2003 and this year the shop has been on the corner spot of Fleminggatan in Stockholm for 16 years and the owner himself is still taking care of his customers in the shop every day. Patrick was born and raised in Glasgow with Irish parents and came to Sweden with the idea of bringing the best quality from Scotland and Irleand to Sweden to the best possible prices. Probably because of that, our little family owned shop have grown for every year!

Even if Harris Tweed is our proudest contributor we also provide many other appreciated product from the British islands. The official Glencairn Whisky glas, hand made Shortbread, Scarves and Ruanas in 100% merino wool and the classic Irish knitwear in the same material. And we would not be a proper Scottish ambassador without our biggest supply of Kilts (and all possible accessories to it) in Scandinavia.

If you are a citizen already or are coming visiting Stockholm, you are more than welcome to come by our shop! But being a part of the modern world, we of course ship anything from our store all around Sweden, Norway and Denmark through our website.
